Presentation

The Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) at ESEA is an RNCP-registered Level 6 qualification which aims to train senior technicians or assistant engineers capable of managing occupational and environmental risks while optimising organisational performance.

This programme is ideally suited to QHSE managers who are seeking creative, passionate, curious, and motivated collaborators.

The QHSE Bachelor’s Degree at ESEA enables students to be highly operational from their very first professional experience, or to continue their studies towards a Bachelor +4/5 level. The programme includes lectures, conferences, Masterclasses, and Business Games delivered by professionals and industry experts.

It also provides access to our network of premium partner companies to undertake your work-study programme.

ESEA Business School is a higher education institution subject to the State’s academic supervision, through the Académie de Paris. ESEA Business School offers programmes in Sustainability Management from Bac to Bac+5, delivered both on campus and online, through initial and continuing education.

This Bachelor’s degree is professionally oriented and therefore leads directly to employment. You also have the option to enrol in the first year of a Master’s programme.

Admission Requirements

ADMISSION LEVEL(S)

Baccalaureate and Bachelor +2 level

Prerequisites:

The Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) at ESEA is open to holders of a baccalaureate and, for entry into the third year, to holders of a BTS or any other Level 5 qualification.

 

Admission is based on application review and, where applicable, an interview.

Duration :

STUDY DURATION:

  • 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
  • Work-study programme (apprenticeship) available from the third year onwards.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

The Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) at ESEA is a State-recognised Level 6 qualification designed to achieve the following objectives:

  • Implement the ISO 9001 standard
  • Manage environmental impact through the ISO 14001 standard
  • Implement the ISO 45001 standard for occupational health and safety
  • Organise “safety moments” or internal training sessions
  • Monitor and ensure that procedures are properly followed on the ground
  • Act as a link between management (strategic objectives) and operational staff (on-the-ground reality)
  • Analyse the root causes of a malfunction (using the Ishikawa method or the 5 Whys)
  • Propose corrective solutions to prevent the recurrence of incidents

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND DEADLINES

APPLICATION DEADLINES
  • Enrolment for the September 2025 intake runs from 1 March to 20 September 2025.
  • Enrolment for the January 2026 mid-year intake continues until 18 December.
Procedures

Access to our training programmes can be initiated:

  • By the employer
  • At the employee’s initiative, with the employee’s consent
  • By a student or their legal guardian
  • Work-study programme available from the third year onwards

After completing the application form, our school commits to responding within 72 hours.

If the programme requires prerequisites, we will offer, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge test and/or a placement interview (by phone or video conference) and/or a review of your application.
