The Master’s Degree in Quality, Safety and Transition (QST) at ESEA is an RNCP-registered Level 7 qualification which trains, over a two-year period, professionals with a strong awareness of quality, safety, and ecological transition issues, equipping them to implement, manage, and continuously improve management systems in these key areas of the organisation.

This programme is ideally suited to QHSE managers seeking creative, passionate, curious, and motivated collaborators.

The QST Master’s Degree at ESEA enables students to be highly operational from their very first professional experience. The programme includes lectures, conferences, Masterclasses, and Business Games delivered by professionals and industry experts.

It also provides access to our network of premium partner companies to undertake your work-study programme.

Admission Requirements

ADMISSION LEVEL(S)

Bachelor’s degree and Bachelor +4 level

Prerequisites:

The Master’s Degree in Quality, Safety and Transition (QST) at ESEA is open to holders of a Bachelor’s degree or any other Level 6 qualification, and to candidates applying for the second year of the Master’s programme who have completed a first year of a Master’s degree (M1) or obtained a waiver from the awarding body.

Admission is based on application review and, where applicable, an interview.

Duration :

STUDY DURATION:

  • 2 years for students holding a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, and 1 year for students who have completed the first year of a Master’s programme.
  • Work-study programme available.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

The Master’s Degree in Quality, Safety and Transition (QST) at ESEA is a State-recognised Level 7 qualification designed to achieve the following objectives:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the applicable standards and certifications (ISO 9001 for Quality, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety, etc.).
  • Master key quality management tools (5M, Pareto and Gantt diagrams, brainstorming, simple and weighted voting, PDCA, 5S).
  • Implement an HACCP system.
  • Master the principles of quality management.
  • Be able to identify non-conformities and propose corrective and preventive actions.
  • Define and implement relevant performance and control indicators.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve integrated QSTE management systems tailored to the specific requirements of the organisation.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND DEADLINES

APPLICATION DEADLINES
  • Enrolment for the September 2025 intake runs from 1 March to 20 September 2025.
  • Enrolment for the January 2026 mid-year intake continues until 18 December.
Procedures

Access to our training programmes can be initiated:

  • By the employer
  • At the employee’s initiative, with the employee’s consent
  • By a student or their legal guardian
  • Work-study programme available from the third year onwards

After completing the application form, our school commits to responding within 72 hours.

If the programme requires prerequisites, we will offer, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge test and/or a placement interview (by phone or video conference) and/or a review of your application.

  • Apprenticeship contract: the company covers the tuition fees on behalf of the student.

Validation of competency blocks:

  • Block 1: Create and develop a digital entrepreneurship project using AI
  • Block 2: Design a digital project within an UX Design approach adapted to AI
  • Block 3: Manage a digital project using agile methodology, and develop functional specifications and technical requirements
  • Block 4: Develop an e-marketing and communication strategy for a digital entrepreneurship project using AI
  • Block 5: Conduct studies and produce reports in economic intelligence and corporate strategy
